This week I’m in myth-busting mode.
Like you, I hear the same old BS time after time online.
This week, I’m calling some of it out.
Let’s start with that perennial myth: you need a Big List. Nope. You need an engaged list…one that loves you and what you do so they trust you when it comes to taking action.
Some of those people with big, bloated lists have horrible conversion rates.
Others pull all kinds of unethical tricks to bask in their Big List numbers, unaware that they don’t mean a thing when it comes to results.

Next up, the one often bandied around that you can learn anything in 11 hours or so and then teach it to others.

Here’s the highly regarded Jeff Goins on the subject:

Next up…is SEO dead?
Short answer: no.

Now, how about the one that says you need to be on every social media platform, exhausting yourself in the process…
Again, a resounding no.
Here’s why along with how to do social media the right way, one that serves you:
And my final myth for today…
Is passive income real?
Well, yes and no…here’s how and why:
Which takes me back to my first point – create based on what you already know. Share your genius because what people want now is not information but transformation…
