When was the last time you mined your inbox for money-making ideas?

If you’re like most of us, the inbox is a battlefield…support tickets, promos, newsletters, spam.
But underneath all that noise? There’s pure, usable, money-making gold.

And in this week’s newsletter,  I’m going to walk you through a simple way to dig into your inbox (or even your comments and DMs) and pull out:

Product ideas people already want

Email content your audience will love

Lead magnets that practically write themselves

And I’ll include some brilliant free tools, templates, and guides to help you do it.

Sounds good?

Let’s go…

Step 1: Look for Repeating Phrases & Pain Points

Open up your inbox and search for clues.

Try using keywords like:

“How do I…”

“Can you help me with…”

“I’m stuck on…”

“This probably sounds silly, but…”

These are like neon signs saying: “Hey, I need help with THIS!”

Step 2: Start Your Inbox Goldmine Tracker

You want to start collecting and sorting the golden nuggets you find.

Use any of these (free) tools to organize your ideas:

Notion – Create an “Inbox Goldmine” dashboard

Trello – Use columns for Lead Magnet Ideas, Micro Offers, Email Topics

Google Sheets Templates – Clean and simple

Step 3: Let AI Do the Heavy Lifting (Optional but Fun)

If you’re short on time, copy-paste a bunch of your emails, DMs, or even customer reviews into ChatGPT and try this prompt:

“Pull out the top 10 questions or pain points from this text that could be turned into a digital product or email.”

Use ChatGPT (free version works great) or test this same thing in
Claude.ai – great at summarizing large chunks of data.

Step 4: Package the Gold

You’ve got real language, real needs, real questions. Time to turn that into cash-generating content:

Ask yourself:

Can this be turned into a checklist, cheat sheet, or swipe file?

Would this make a short paid training, template, or audio explainer?

Is this a story I could turn into a mini email series?

Extra Tip: Your Anti-Idea Block Swipe File

Next time you’re stuck on what to create or email…

Open your Inbox Goldmine and start writing from there.

You’ll never stare at a blank screen again.

Try this swipe:

“Last week, someone asked me how I [handle/solve/do] _____. I thought, if they’re wondering this, maybe you are too…”

That little prompt alone can spark 3 days’ worth of content.

You don’t need more ideas.
You just need to notice what your people are already asking for.
