Essentially, the more time-starved we are, or the shorter our attention spans, the more we want to listen to content on the go rather than having to sit down and read it…
Although, interestingly, at a seminar I attended the head of a major publishing house’s audio department revealed that their research showed many people like to sit and simply listen to a book, giving it their full attention.
As for turning your content into audio, there are any number of text to speech tools out there although not too many good ones for nada.
