This  is inspired by this article I read on 10 jobs that pay 6 figures working remotely:

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/06/13/flexjobs-10-work-from-home-positions-that-offer-six-figure-salaries.html

Now, I totally understand that most of these may not suit you but it reinforced in me the belief that anyone can achieve those kind of figures provided they are prepared to put in the work…

And sometimes that work involves gaining new skills. No, not the sort of skills you supposedly get from the latest Bright Shiny Course on some fly by night method but real skills. Marketable ones.

Yes, an unfashionable view but it’s the path I have always taken – equipping myself with skills when I needed to in order to add to my portfolio of multiple streams of income.

I would like you to have the same so that you always have a way to bring in whatever you need when necessary. So, with that in mind, I am going to share with you some resources and ideas on how you can do that.

Let’s start with this excellent case study on how to make six figures a year from Upwork, the freelancer’s dream site (when you know how to work it right):

There is also a good selection here:

Now that you have some ideas on how to get that moolah rolling in, let’s break it down into different skills you can acquire or polish.

Even if you don’t want to freelance, all of these skills will come in handy with product and site creation, marketing, SEO, content creation etc etc

You will have noticed that coding and programming are right up there as highly in demand skills…and you probably thought ‘nope, not me.’ Well, you might change your mind when you try this no cost Udemy course for coding beginners:

And if you get bitten by the coding bug, you can deepend your knowledge and marketability with one of this excellent selection of (again, no cost) courses:

You’ll have noticed there is also a big demand for people who can produce content that is SEO friendly…fortunately, there is also a great Udemy course to teach you how to do just that:
